Carly

Brightstar SLT

Bred and selected based on it’s outstanding performance and resistance to high levels of salinity.  It endured salt baths in the greenhouse at levels reaching 17,000 ppm. Brightstar SLT has displayed good traffic tolerance, a beautiful dark green color, and excellent density at all mowing heights.  It’s ability to hold good color and tolerance of poorer soil and/or irrigation sources make for a great choice.

PST-2M20

Is a dark green perennial ryegrass with good turf quality and quick establishment. It has good resistance to stem rust, and can tolerate low rates of glyphosate for an added weed control tool.  PST-2M20 can be very useful in the overseeding market and permanent turf where there are problems with Poa annua. A rate of 8oz/ acre of glyphosate may be applied 90 days after planting to reduce or eliminate Poa annua.

GT24

Is a dark green perennial ryegrass that was selected for glyphosate tolerance. It has great stem rust resistance with moderate resistance to crown rust.  GT24 has shown good turf quality across multiple trials throughout the US.  A rate of 8oz/ acre of glyphosate may be applied under 90 days after planting to reduce or eliminate Poa annua.

Tarnation GT

It is a dark green tall fescue with good drought tolerance and natural tolerance to glyphosate.  Tarnation GT was selected from Tar Heel II after 6 cycles of selection for natural tolerance to various rates, and timing of glyphosate applications over a 5 year period. Tarnation GT has good salt tolerance and good resistance to net blotch, crown and stem rust.  It can also be used in vineyards and other areas where low rates of glyphosate could be used to eliminate weeds.

Gazelle II

Bighorn GT hard fescue
Festuca ovina

Bighorn GT is an American sheeps fescue developed for a wide range of adaptability in the turf grass industry. It has been a top performer in glyphosate trials when sprayed at a rate of 20 oz./acre (1.46 liter/ha).  Bighorn GT displays a pleasing blue-green color combined with good turf density and fine texture. These traits also contribute to an excellent range of mowing heights from closely mowed fairways to un-cut golf course roughs with full maturity height at 14”-18”. It has excellent drought tolerance.

Soilguard hard fescue

Soilguard is a hard fescue developed for a multitude of applications within the turf grass industry. It has good drought tolerance, medium vertical growth rate, and good resistance to summer patch.  It also has tolerance to 8-16 oz./acre (.58-1.16 liter/hectare) rates of glyphosate. Soilguard is an excellent choice for stabilizing steep slopes and adding stability to highly erodible ground.

Enchantment chewing's fescue
Festuca rubra fallax 

Is a medium green variety with good overall tolerance to drought conditions. It also displays good tolerance to medium levels (16 oz./acre) of glyphosate applications. Enchantment was a top performer for resistance to melting out in turf quality ratings, for entries in a fine fescue turf trial located near Hubbard, OR.  Enchantment has reduced vertical growth compared to other fine fescues during the grow-in period for reduced maintenance costs.

Seabreeze GT | slender creeping red 
Festuca rubra trichophilia

Displays a bright green color with a spreading, low growth habit. It has a high salt tolerance with high seed germination rates at 7,000 ppm NaCl, and whole plant survival at 10,000 ppm NaCl. It displays good resistance to lower rates of glyphosate 4-6 oz./acre (.29-.43 liter/ha), on well-established turf at least 90 days after emergence. Seabreeze GT has very good seedling vigor and growth characteristics in shady areas, and is adapted to soil pH ranges between 4.5-8.0.

Is a medium-dark green strong creeping red fescue selected for early maturity, low growth habit, and high seed yield for production.
